The Way Forward - Mark 16:1-7
How do you adjust when everything you had assumed is upside down?
Your job, your finances, your friendships, even your
assumptions about yourself have gone sideways. You know you cannot sit in hopelessness and despair. You must keep
going.
Study the week a familiar story of the women going to the tomb after Jesus’ crucifixion. Things seemed dark, but they were
not as bad as the women and the 11 remaining disciples thought. Need some hope? Join us as we look to the Scriptures to
find the way forward.
Golf Cart discussion:
1. Do you see yourself as more of a planner or a visionary? How does that affect you at work, home or in relationships?
2. What do you think was running through the three women’s minds on the morning of Jesus’ resurrection? What about the disciples’ minds?
3. How do we see the supernatural power of God in the Bible? Do you have a story of God’s supernatural power today? How would believing
that power is available to you now, change your life?
4. Jesus told the disciples he would meet them in Galilee. Where is Jesus telling you he will meet you?
5. What is the “next thing” for you? What should be the “next thing” for the Church?
