On hole 5 Andy and Dr Adam slammed their drives off the green. I know we were on the green at the time.  Patric and Bill hit the first eagle of the year on hole #2. As a commissioner I had to think quickly for how many points to give for an eagle. Patric helped me of course Anthony and  Rich had 3 birdies in a great game with the low 33 (-3).  Other low scores include Patric and Bill with a 37. Wyatt and Dan with a 38.  There were a lot of scores in the low 40's also.  There were 10 teams playing for the GOLD and it was great competition.  3 New guys came out and played for the first time also.  See you Tuesday 5:15 pm . The frustrations of injustice, economic difficulty and widespread sickness are bubbling over. Almost nobody really feels like the “systems” are working. This was the world Jesus walked in, and it is the world we live in today. Golf Cart discussion Hole #1-Talk with your foursome how we can avoid the anger and cynicism of our day to be salt and light for the gospel. The key? Remember whose kingdom you are really a citizen of. Hole #3. “The attitudes of my heart reveal the citizenship of my soul.” Does this make sense to you? How do you see it playing out in your own life? Hole #5. Which of the beatitudes resonate with you the most right now? Which do you think are the most difficult? Hole #7. Have you had any opportunities to be “salt & light” lately? How did you do? Hole# 9. Spend time each morning for the next week meditating on one beatitude per day. Group verses 3,10,11 together, and one verse per day after that from 4 through 9. Be sure to journal your thoughts. 19 th Hole Group. Review key thoughts from your 4-some. Spend some time praying as a group for all of those affected, for patience, waiting and trusting for Jesus to show up at the right time.
